New Blogger: Antique Mommy

A link was sent to me by someone I used to attend church with while we lived in Texas. She calls herself "Antique Mommy." I laughed out loud at her third and most recent blog. Check it out.

Read back to how she became an antique mommy. It is a wonderful story and I am glad she shared it. It is inspirational. It also made me think. I did not know her well when we were attending church together. I realize now that I may very well have been one of those women she resented and/or who unintentionally caused her pain. Both my boys were very young when she was going through some very difficult times. I had no idea what she was going through. The church we attended went through a baby boom after Jackson was born. The babies just kept coming. It was wonderful to be a part of it. It just never occurred to me how painful it might be to someone else. Don't get me wrong, I know it is painful to want to be pregnant and not be able to get pregnant. I had no idea that they were trying to have a baby and of the struggle they were going through. To read her story now and understand the situation is humbling.

God does have a sense of humor. And timing. (Would that be comic timing? Never mind.) Just make plans and see what happens.

(If you read this Tina, welcome to blogging.)
