It is that time of year again. Next weekend is the 25th anniversary of Toad Suck Daze. You read it right, Toad Suck Daze. Around here it is a big deal. Seriously.
In other news:
Jackson had his first softball game last night. What he lacks in talent, he makes up for in enthusiasm. They had fun and are learning and that is all I really care about.
Any disaster that is going to happen in our house or life, starts as soon as Mark gets on a plane to go back to work. Last week it was a clog in our master bathroom. Yes, the whole room: toilet, tub and shower. I plunged, I ran a snake (something I will never do again), I tried everything except calling a plumber. Mark had fixed it before, so I waited until he got home. He called the plumber. Oh well, it is fixed now.
Jackson is going to have his 6th birthday soon. I cannot believe my baby is going to be 6! Where has the time gone?
The boys are going to have a busy summer. When I was a kid I can remember getting bored during the summer. Not going to happen to these boys. It is just crazy. A little boredom might do them good. In addition to their ongoing taekwondo lessons, they have Scout Day Camp for one week, swimming lessons for one week, an academic day camp for another week, Jonathan has a baseball camp for 3 days, plus they are playing softball and baseball. Mark asked me last night if we needed to sign them up for gymnastics classes. I just laughed.
