Farm Fest: A Photo Blog

The 5th Annual Farm Fest at Acres Away in east Texas

Jackson riding Wibur.

Jonathan catches a ride on the back of a 4-wheeler.

There were so many kids this year that they were divided into age groups. This is the 6-8 year-old group painting their farm scene.

Notice all the red shirts? We got Farm Fest t-shirts this year. This is definitely becoming an event.

Pumpkin ball! This is played basically like baseball, but with pumpkins and without bats. If your pumpkin busts, you are out.

Jackson led Spring Forward around like a large dog.

Everybody loaded up and ready for the hayride.

Jonathan and Jackson pile on. They look forward to this each year.

The kids got prizes for the games they played. Many of them chose Silly String and then used it on the hayride driver, variously known as Dick, Uncle Dick and Poopah.

Dinner is always a weenie roast over a huge bonfire with roasted marshmallows for dessert. This is just part of the "dinner crowd."

Konner and Jackson, friends since birth.

My family is so very grateful to the Graham family for making us part of their family. We love you all!
