Canton was great. I bought so much stuff that weekend that I had to buy a new suitcase to take back with me on the airplane. But that was not enough. This weekend my co-shopper, Stephanie, is going to bring to me the rest of what I bought. This is very exciting for a couple of reasons. We are going to Farm Fest this weekend and Stephanie and her kids are going to join us for the first time.
But before we can leave for Farm Fest, we have a busy week to get through. Today Jackson has therapy, then we are going to Mark's parents' house for his Dad's birthday. Tomorrow, therapy again, then swim practice for Jonathan. Wednesday means Scouts right after school, then church with dinner squeezed in there somehow. Thursday is Jackson's musical program and Jonathan is supposed to have swim practice again. Not sure what we are going to do about that one. Oh, and by the way, this is Red Ribbon Week. That means that every day has a theme and I have to figure out what the boys need to wear that day to go with the theme. Then finally...Friday!
The boys are already campaigning to leave early on Friday so they will have a few hours of sunlight left to play with their buds Jordan and Konner once we get to "the farm."
Farm Fest seems to grow every year. This one is promising to be be bigger than ever. More people are coming than last year, but they are mostly people I know from our time in Texas. I can't wait to see everyone. You can bet there will be pictures here next week.
